There’s a pageantry to games, and tapping into it can make a game a lot more fun. Ugg-tect is a classic example; the game would work if everyone just said “wrong,” but whapping people with a giant inflatable club feels a lot more Flintstones-y. Don’t leave props to LARPs; other games can benefit from them as well.
